I’ve done the undoable

I actually made lasagna that had a light, cloud-like quality to it. I didn’t go bare on the cheese, I almost completely followed a recipe and after reheating it for tonight’s dinner (made it last night for girls since we would be out - I can be a responsible person that feeds their kids), I warmed it up and am stunned at the ethereal consistency. The flavor is great — I’m super happy about that. And I wouldn’t necessarily say this was a bad thing, but I’ve just never experienced lasagna that melts in your mouth kind of like cotton candy — in a vaporous sort of way. I even used lean beef instead of turkey. I’m so confused. Honestly, this has been such a weird day.

What cannot be cured, must be endured.  In Michigan that means the weather.  Get outside, trust me, it does make it better.

Instead of texting, meet up with a friend.  If that's not possible, make a phone call.  Voices are amazingly comforting.
