We decided to drive to a waterfall, hike in, swim, dreamy.

The drive to Nauyaca Waterfall (https://nauyacawaterfall.com/en), was well worth it despite the insanely bumpy roads in the last leg. The hike in was a vibrant explosion of lush greenery speckled with bright houses and a few vaca y pollos. My hiking partner was in a rush so I was conflicted with the want/need to take photos but also had to keep on eye on the steep decline of the road that was covered with tiny rocks. Heavenly moment came with a jump in to a refreshing pool of water beneath the stunning waterfall. The water felt incredibly pure and cleansing. Any bad juju on me was completely washed away.
