Okay, you will need to read between the lines -- but we have experienced both of these things on our vacation so far. One morning, there was a scorpion sting on my daughter's foot -- and then, you know, the other thing.
I truly want to have some conversations with the curriculum director for my husband's medical school -- it seems they only taught one version of the human body, when actually, shhh --- you might not know this -- there are two versions. Although in many ways we do have similarities, in certain massively important areas (one being able to create and produce an entire human being after a little drop of you know what), we are pretty different. If it weren't for the whole wow, they literally can make up to like six babies at one time -- thing, there wouldn't be as many differences. But in order to do what we can do and it not happen by a cute blink of our eyes but truly takes place in our physical being, we have to be extremely well-equipped. This requires a lot of ingenuity from the maker of the body, the hormone factories, etc. It is quite complex and so in order for that to occur, we must bleed. I know, cringe. It is so uncomfortable for you (probably a male if you're cringing) to hear the details of what it is we have going on to make this stuff happen, that yes, sometimes the tiny details like our hormones might threaten to make you squirm.
I do feel bad for guys -- I mean, they truly don't have a clue as to how this all works. How many tampons does she pack for her first day out? How often does she need to change them? What do you do with the string? What if she bleeds through her pants? Like I said, I feel bad for them. Yet I feel a little more sympathy for the girl who now has these worries until she is in menopause, which is a whole new bag of exciting hormonal and bodily surprises.
